Weckls new Sabian line

Dave's off to Canada to test some new cymbals. Guess he's got a new line of Sabians coming out.

He'll be playing with Wooten and Stern out here in L.A. at Catalina's Dec 13th-18th. Should be good.

Yeah, I think that's his new "Legacy" line of cymbals from Sabian.. can't wait to hear them!

They are supposed to be insane... I'm very happy with the Evolutions though. They are going to have to be real nice to be better than what he's already created..

Yeah they are a thinner and lighter line of cymbals for acoustic settings that Dave wanted. I met Peter Stairs (Sabian rep) a couple months back and we talked about them, very insightful - he even let me read an e-mail from Dave LOL

Anyhow, they will be revealed at NAMM 2006 [img]smile.gif[/img]

Whatever he's using in that Chick/Patitucci 2004 Akoustic DVD sounds great. Do you know what those are Chris?

Derek, I haven't bought the new chick DVDs yet but I am willing to bet he was using a few legacy prototypes since they have been in the works for a while now [img]smile.gif[/img]
